HONOR Study

Do you feel out of control around food? Have you been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes? 

If so, the HONOR study may interest you! 

Researchers at UNC-Chapel Hill are conducting a research study where participants will be interviewed about their eating concerns, and their interest in using technology in future treatment programs to manage their type 2 diabetes. If you are eligible, it will require you to participate in a 60–90-minute interview about the factors that influence your eating behaviors and patterns. 

You may be eligible if you identify as the following:

  • African American
  • Between the ages of 18-75
  • Have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.

Participants will be compensated $40 for their participation.
